Sascha Dietrich is a physician scientist with expertise in cell- and molecular biology, bioinformatics and clinical care. He has developed profound skills in all these domains and head an interdisciplinary research team of dry lab and wet lab scientists as well as physicians in this strategic integrated area. His aim is to bring biology-based individualized treatment of lymphoma into clinical practice. He received medical training at the University Hospital of Heidelberg and was recently appointed as a full proffessor at the Heinrich Heine University of Duesseldorf where he serves as the head of the department of hematology and oncology.
