Stephen D. Smith, MD, is a board-certified hematologist who works at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and is an associate professor of Oncology and Medicine at the University of Washington. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his residency and fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, respectively. He is board-certified in Hematology and an active member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Smith is also engaged in teaching and original research on lymphoma prognosis and therapy, with a focus on immunotherapy and kinase inhibitor therapies.
