Dr. Machida is an MD-PhD who has worked for over 20 years to develop methods that use human SH2 domains to interrogate the signaling state of cells and tumor samples. He has spearheaded efforts, along with co-Investigator Bruce Mayer, to develop SH2 profiling into a highly reproducible, sensitive, high-throughput assay for global phosphotyrosine content. His extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of SH2 profiling, including sample preparation from human specimens and data analysis.
