Dr. Aurer is currently Professor of Medicine at the Medical School, University of Zagreb and Head of the Division of Hematology, Department of Internal Medicine, University Hospital Centre Zagreb. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the European Hematology Association Lymphoma Working Group; member of the European Lymphoma Institute executive committee; former chairman of the EORTC Lymphoma Group; chairman of the Lymphoma subcommittee and president of KroHem, the Croatian Cooperative Group for Hematologic Diseases; and member of the Steering Committee of the Croatian Hematological Society.
