Dr. Paul Hampel is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Within the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, he is a member of the Lymphoid Malignancies Group and the Experimental and Novel Therapeutics Group. Dr. Hampel has strong clinical and research interests in improving outcomes for patients with CLL and other lymphoproliferative diseases through a better understanding of resistance mechanisms to targeted therapeutics and optimal sequencing of treatment. He is involved in clinical research, including clinical trials and real-world outcomes research. As a member the laboratory of Dr. Esteban Braggio, Ph.D., Dr. Hampel is also collaboratively engaged in research investigating the clonal heterogeneity and evolution of disease and immune microenvironment in patients with CLL.
