Iryna Krіachok, MD, PhD, Professor, Head of Hematology and Chemotherapy Clinic at the National Cancer Institute of Ukraine.
Iryna Krіachok is the Head of Hematology and Chemotherapy Clinic at the NCI of Ukraine.
She received medical degree from Bogomolets Medical Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1989 and worked at the position of Junior and later Senior Research Associate at the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Department.
In 2008, she was appointed as the Deputy Director of Research and Head of the Department of Conservative Treatment at the NCI. From 2015 she became the Head of Hematology Department; current position is from 01 September 2023.
In 2016 she was awarded the title of professor.
Dr. Kriachok focuses her professional interests on the diagnostics and treatment of CLL, MM, Hodgkin’s, and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphomas. She dedicates much of her time to clinical research, having served as a principal investigator in several institutional and international multicenter studies.
She has an extensive publication record, comprising 291 national and 108 international publications. Under Dr. Kriachok’s guidance, 7 PhD dissertations were written.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Journal of Clinical Oncology.
Her honors and awards include: Order of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara, Order of Princess Olga (3rd Class), Certificate of Competence in Lymphoma from Ulm University in cooperation with ESO.
Dr. Kriachok is a member of the European Hematology Association, European Society for Medical Oncology, Association for help for people with disabilities and patients with chronic lymphoproliferative disorders.
She is a member of the Specialized Scientific Council of the National Cancer Institute and a member of the multidisciplinary working group for development of healthcare standards at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
She is the Head of the Association of Oncohematologists of Ukraine and a board member of the National Association of Ukrainian Oncologists.
