Dr Shenmiao Yang earned her medical degree from Peking University Health Science Center in Peking, China, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. Her research focus includes chronic lymphocytic leukemia and malignant lymphoma.
Dr Yang is an Associate Chief Physician in the Division of Hematology at the Peking University Institute of Hematology in Beijing, China. She is author of at least 27 peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr Yang is a board member of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, the Chinese Geriatrics Society, the Chinese Medical Association, the Chinese Society of Geriatric Oncology, and the Beijing Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. She serves as Assistant Secretary at the Chinese Geriatrics Society.
