Danielle M. Brander MD completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency training, and fellowship in hematology/oncology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Her clinical and research focus is in the care of patients with CLL/SLL and she directs the CLL & Lymphoma Clinical Research Program within the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI). Dr. Brander has served as site PI for diverse clinical trials of targeted therapeutics for CLL/SLL and other B-cell malignancies, collaborates on initiatives in chronic cancer care with the DCI Onco-Primary Care and Survivorship Center, and is involved in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Leukemia Committee. She is dedicated to mentoring and medical education activities, as well as patient and caregiver educational initiatives.
